The good news: I passed my placement test into Intermediate Japanese. The bad news: I have a lot to catch up on. The textbook I used at Boston Univ. taught about 110 kanji characters over the first year; The Rutger's textbook taught 170!
My placement test consisted of a little multiple choice page and then chatting in Japanese with the teacher. Thank God he didn't place me back into 101... I would've been extremely upset. I guess I have a lot of work to do this weekend. I wonder if I should apply for a computing job next week or not... :-/
